Canadian indie rockers Said The Whale have made a pretty big splash in their homeland and it's starting to seep over to the U.S. 

The band's current album, Howe Sounds/Taking Abalonia, is a combination of their debut album (Taking Abalonia) and seven newer tracks.

The guys and gal will head to the studio in February to record a proper second album with producers Howard Redekopp (Mother Mother, New Pornographers) and Tom Dobrzanski (STW, Hey Ocean).
