Holy F**K!
Reports from the Jimmy Kimmel Live taping are flowing in:
According to Morrissey Solo and a few fans that attended, Morrissey actually played The Smiths classic This Charming Man. Just as crazy, he played Best Friend On The Payroll from Southpaw Grammar. Wow. How long has it been since that track has been played? Also in the set? Three Years Of Refusal tracks: Black Cloud, Mama Lay Softly On The Riverbed and the excellent Something Is Squeezing My Skull.
This just hurts folks. We had tickets for the outdoor show this evening, but due to the rain, the show was moved indoors to the tiny studio versus the larger outdoor lot used for concerts. Most of those who had tickets for the outside were denied access to the inside due to capacity issues. Of all the times for rain in Los Angeles? Come on. This is a great set list for a tiny little show.
Video should hit the web soon.
Hope this is a preview of things to come on Morrissey's upcoming tour.

Best Friend On The Payroll, that's the first time he's EVER played that song live. And The Charming Man, first time played since The Smiths.

p.s. you accidentally said Reader Meet Author, I don't think he played that song last night.
