The lines were pretty tragic, and the wait seemed never ending, but eventually Depeche Mode emerged onto the temporary stage at Hollywood and Argyle to perform seven songs. Both Wrong and Personal Jesus were shot for the actual Jimmy Kimmel broadcast. Those of us in attendance were also treated to a mini concert consisting of two new album tracks; Come Back and Peace, and three more DM classics; Walking In My Shoes, Enjoy The Silence and Never Let Me Down Again.
The four older tracks sounded amazing, as always, and it was really great to hear Walking In My Shoes live again. Looking forward to the full set list for the band's Tour Of The Universe.
Lots of crowd estimates being thrown around, but it seems close to12,000 folks rocked a closed off Hollywood Boulevard for the show.
