The details are starting to take shape around Brandon Flowers upcoming solo album Flamingo.
Flowers spilled some details in the recent issue of NME primarily announcing his collaboration with Jenny Lewis, including a duet number called Hard Enough. Flowers told the mag, "she’s always popped into my mind whenever I think about getting a female vocalist involved because she’s a fellow child of Las Vegas, too.” We actually like the idea of these two working together.
Flowers gave the name of another track that's made the album titled Welcome To The Fabulous Las Vegas. No shock there.
Flamingo is due this fall. Flowers also announced that he will embark on a solo tour.
Stuart Price (our old school favorite from Les Rythmes Digitales) will produce, (also produced The Killers Day & Age), along with Daniel Lanoid and Brendan O' Brien.
The Flamingo album is quite interesting, I do not know much about him, only a few tracks that I listened in the radio.
